Appearing on NBC's Today show, Manning said that Newton "couldn't have been nicer" to him at midfield when the two met, adding "he was extremely humble."
Newton might not have been in good spirits with the media in his postgame interview, but towards other players he gave a lot of respect.
Uh oh, there goes the CB narrative that Newton is a spoiled child.
