I griped to a mission companion once about this same thing
He told me to do the things I like to do, things that bring me happiness. I followed his advice and have been exercising 3 times a week for 15 years doing things I like to do. I don't run more than 1-2 miles because it is boring to me. I do pushups, lift, play basketball, ride my bike to work, etc. I like doing those things. Marriage won't solve your predicament. If you rely on her telling you what to do, you will come to despise her and her counsel and you will slowly start to blame your failings on her counsel (which you will begin to take as criticism). Marry someone because you love them and want to serve and bless their lives. The counsel will come, don't worry
