and teamrankings.com is projecting them at 7th and 1 game behind Dallas with a
75% chance of making the playoffs.
Of course, they project Dallas at 42 wins, Utah at 41, Houston at 40, and Portland at 39 wins, so their projections basically only have 3 games separating 6th from 9th.
And if you look at the "range" of projections (30th percentile to 70th percentile), it looks very likely that the Jazz will finish somewhere between 6th and 9th.
