It's fair for the coaches to want to know if Taysom is someone they can focus their game plan around.

I hope he stays. Not only because injuries happen and the schedule challenging. I have much more confidence in the current staff than the previous one as far as creating and implementing a game plan that emphasizes both Taysom's and Tanner's strengths. The issue of a QB competition should be a non-issue. Take advantage of what Taysom can do while using and developing Tanner to be the guy in 2017 and beyond. This isn't a Riley/Heaps situation. Both present QBs are more talented and mature than either of those two previous ones were, and the coaching situation is more seasoned.
