Way overpriced
I have gotten solar bids from 4 different companies and theirs was much more expensive than the other three. The cheapest came in at $23K, two around 26-27K, and Blue Raven was 40K. They then tried to offer me a $7K incentive, which brought it down to $33K - still overpriced compared to the others. Obviously there were some small differences in the bids, but nothing in Blue Raven's that would suggest to me that it was worth $6K more.

Blue Raven's big push is in doing their own financing, which makes them a lot more money and costs you a lot more money. You can finance it on your own and be better off.

I spoke with a BR rep on 3 or 4 different occasions, and there were just too many red flags for me. Their numbers were questionable, answers were dodgy, and their math was fuzzy.

In my experience, Synergy Power and Intermountain Wind and Solar are the two best solar companies to go with. They are both reasonably priced, good to work with, and have been doing solar in Utah for a long time.

My 2c.
