I hadn't planned on claiming anything I've paid towards by daugther's HEFY trip this summer; however, I received the tax receipt yesterday from HEFY and read where it states a portion of the amount I've paid may be deducted as a donation in support of a tax exempt purpose.

Have any of you claimed deduction your payment/ donation for your kid's HEFY trip?
