(1) the interception, I had a perfect view of it in the east stands. Saw him break on the ball. It was great.

(2) laying wood, watched this on TV, it was a bad year for the Cougs, but a running back came up the middle and ran into Gilford. Running back was going full force into the touchdown. Gilford met him with his shoulder and laid him out. I was impressed with that coming out of a corner.

(3) taking away field, He's not Deion Sanders, but he did a Deion level job better than anyone I remember at BYU (though I loved Morgan & Co. from the 1996 team). What do I mean by this? Other teams had to game plan away from Gilford. He was good enough to take away a top receiver. Loved it! Very excited to have Gilford back.
