HCBW's good friend lost their two-year old yesterday. I don't know the details yet, but it hit far too close to home for us.

Thinking about revisiting our life insurance policies for me, mrs. ebv, and our kids.

Any recommendations on insurers? Rates to look for? Levels and/or ladders that you use?

Welcome any and all input. Mostly, I want to know if there's a consensus on the board or a few insurers / products that rise to the surface.
