I think herein your answer lieth... (observations and deductions=no sources)
BYU seems to have started turning over its productions of Y games for men's bball. I have a hunch that the W realized if we were willing to do it with such quality, and probably at a cheaper rate than producing it would cost the W, and then just turn it over the theW.com where their advertisers could possibly benefit from having the Y donate it to them after at most a 24 hour window on BYUtv, erasing BYU advertisements (it seemed to me on LMU game) in the process... What is there to complain about? They (theW.com) have their cake and can eat it, too. I just hope that the games work their way back to the vaults on BYUtv before too long.

Note: I am basing this off of the fact that I could not get the LMU road game the next day after it was on BYUtv. It was only available on theW at that time. Removed from the DVR area. All of the other games were in DVR from ladies and other sports. I surmise some kind of agreement must have happened. The result is fewer RootTV offerings and easier viewing for me (and many others, I am sure). BYU must have noticed an advantage of some sort in their concessions--even if it is just more BYUtv productions of road games.

Whatever has happened, it is a net gain for me (so long as archives open up for them fairly soon), so "Thank you Mr. Somebody that made this arrangement!"
