I too doubt that anyone who has posted on CB regarding Wintrich has any real first hand smoking gun proof of anything Wintrich may have done or not done, and if anyone has said first hand smoking gun proof, I doubt they would utter it on CB. There has been so much conjecture, judgement and slanderous gossip disguised as humor, and innuendo that people see what they want to see and believe what they want to believe and unfortunately they spread it around further as though it was relevant and based upon truth.

I personally think it is unbecoming of LDS church members and BYU alumni to engage in these games of innuendo, self righteous judgement/condemnation/speculation disguised as humor and salacious gossip. As President Uctdorff said-Just Stop it.

Let he or she of CB who is without sin cast the first stone at Wintrich even if that stone is disguised as humor and innuendo about something they have NO first hand smoking gun evidence or proof of and that is none of their business in the first place. If Frank did not personally hurt you or mistreat you, what is what ever Wintrich did or is believed to have done to you?

As president Uctdorff said-Just Stop it. Treating non members who come here to coach with this type of gossip and innuendo does not equate to being a welcoming environment for other non-member coaches who might consider coming to BYU to coach.

The Savior whom we profess to follow said that we should do unto others as we would have them do unto ourselves, and the Master whose name we took upon us at Baptism said that by the measure that we judge our fellow men, we ourselves will be judged. I for one want to err on the side of mercy, minding my own business, not engaging in salacious gossip, not engaging in this type of "humor" at anothers expense and staying out of the gossip cesspool for that reason.
