Solid helmet with a Y. That's it. The stripe just doesn't look good. Very few teams do any sort of a stripe when they do those helmets. It looks cleaner. Just focus on the logo. Or do something like Mizzou's, or Boise's, etc. where they put a large animal logo.

And if they're going to do the Y, try just the Y with no oval. I think the black helmets should be very clean and simple. A bright royal blue or white Y with nothing else.

I liked the old one with the Royal Y, but they just needed to ditch the stripe down the middle.
