I love both of them ...

I'd love to give Taysom another year..... but I zero confidence in him staying healthy for a whole year, especially the 2016 season.

If we played Taysom half the time, and Tanner half the time, the chances of Taysom surviving a whole year probably at least double, and maybe even more. I still give him 50/50 chance of no major injury even playing on half the time.

Likewise, I think Tanner might actually be better only playing roughly half of time either. It would be great to get him time to see the defense (perhaps even up in the Box with coaches for a quarter!) in real time in a real game. I also think, with the defenses we are facing next year, reducing the number of hits that Tanner takes would be a good thing as well.

Two QB systems don't often work, but they HAVE worked, it's not impossible. The key would be two mature kids who can work together. One would hope that two RMs like Tanner and Taysom could make it work.

If Taysom transfers and tries to be the full time starter at Michigan or someplace, I really don't think he'll make it through the season. I'd love him to, but ... history seems to say it won't happen.

Playing part time is probably his best chance at a final senior season.... and that is most likely to happen at BYU...

IT would be critical to let everyone know, BOTH are going to be playing. It's not a question of yanking one for the other in a game ... it's a strategic planned thing to switch them in and out.....
