Ophthalmologists, better yet cornea specialists, would suggest
Dailies. More comfortable, safer. That is probably all you need to know. If you'd like to know more feel free:

0) If you are an excellent CTL wearer, you wash your hands every time before touching them, you don't sleep in them, you've never had a bacterial or herpesviral/zoster (NOT an STD in this context) eye infection, you could safely have your pick of any.

1) CTLs increase the odds of eye infections. Sleeping in them increases this risk 15-fold. Dailies are less risky because they spend less time in the eye.

2) You eyes might still facilitate a touch-up job, which would have a cost

3) Dailies are not in the tear film long enough to get coated by protein, which is part of what makes biweeklies/monthlies less comfortable. But if you choose something like biofinity, you might consider ClearCare. It is the best, most comfortable solution. Worth the price.

4) Gas Perms are a fine option. After having had LASIK, your correction is now milder, and your eyes might not require them anymore.

5) In my experience, optometrists are better at dispensing/prescribing CTLs than ophthalmologists, and ophthalmologists are better at treating the complications they cause.
