You're missing my larger point. Golf lacks passion, iconic
moments that unite entire cities, etc.
Yes, to each their own. I just think not many have thought their "golf" answers through.
It's a great, mostly passionless sport that rarely creates icons or iconic moments.
If a legendary player brings home an NBA championship to say, the Utah Jazz, for example, he is a hero in that city and state forever.
That dynamic doesn't exist in golf.
