There are lot's of bad academics in the P5. The ACC and Big 10 are the best. Pac-12 is middle, and SEC and Big 12 are the worst. Once you get past the top 5 in the Pac-12 it's a lot like the Big 12/SEC, but having the 4 California schools and Washington helps them. The Oregon schools, the Arizona schools, Washington State, Utah and Colorado bring the average way down.
