and we just got notice that we were denied our 5K tax credit. It was a glitch in the system, and we'll get the credit eventually, but might take a few months to get worked out. Now instead of getting 3K in credit, we owe 2K that is coming out of our account in 2 weeks. It really isn't a big deal, because we are so far ahead in our student loans, and can just delay a few payments, but now she wants to cancel almost everything we were going to spend money on because we aren't getting the return right away. Wish the letter came just one day later.
