I am a believer in talents. There is a reason many of us have talents- everything we have in this life can be used to spread the Gospel. I consider myself athletic- my talent took me all over the country and I was able to be an example to others at a young age. Some of you are brilliant and talented in your own field. If we don't expound on those, I believe God will judge us accordingly.

I'm not saying Herring is going to be judged harshly, but I look at the good that all LDS professional athletes have done, and I can't help but think he could've been up there, but chose otherwise.
