It was the best job I've ever had, I absolutely loved it.
But, it was the pretty bad when a minivan would pull in from a long road trip. It would smell like 12 hour old fast food and fries. It had everything going on that was described in Slim's post:

I vowed that my family cars would never turn into that. But, like Slim, I have failed as a parent too. I now understand that it's just not possible to have a clean car with kids. The moment the step a foot into the car trash appears! We even have a trash bag that I demand gets used every time we get out of the car, but somehow it places the trash back under the seats and on the floor!
On a side note...It almost never failed, that after parking the smelly car with the sticky steering wheel, delivering one suitcase and 32 shopping bags to their room, I would always get a very sincere "thanks champ" from the BYU t-shirt wearing dad.
