Cutler was great for sure, but I wouldn't really say that he was similar to
Cahoon. Cutler was a tall possession receiver (6'2") in the mold of Cody Hoffman or Art Monk, whereas Cahoon was a short (5'9") slot receiver, like a slower Kevin Curtis. Cutler caught a lot of balls, where Cahoon caught fewer balls with a higher YPC, plus he was much more acrobatic. Many were similar to his CFL highlights, but unfortunately nobody really remembers his senior season, and before that he was buried behind 3 great receivers on the depth chart.

If he'd had 2 seasons as the starter with a decent QB, he'd have broken records & had the type of success he had in the CFL.

Cutler does get extra kudos for dating my sister though.
