Just to add to Rebelscum's post. It may be well known but I thought it was awesome when Dave Rose said that Brandon Davies is getting sealed in the Provo Temple this week. I am very proud of him and happy for him. Dave also said he is glad Korbin is going to put on some weight with the football team because he just found out Karnowski was returning to Gonzaga yesterday.

It was also very clear that Tom Holmoe, President Worthen and VP Richardson are deeply involved in the big 12 expansion talks. They are privately putting our best foot forward. One thing Matt Richardson said was that Tom has the trust of those all the way at the top and has been given the green light on advancing BYU. I don't think BYU will be difficult to work with at all.

Another thing Kalani said was that he had only prayed harder for one thing in his life than this BYU job and that was to have his wife marry him. Tom said he had never prayed harder over a job hire than this one and he is confident he got the right guy. Kalani said that Kyle learned from Lavell and has tried to implement what Lavell did at BYU but that there is only one BYU and that system works perfectly here.

I left very excited about the future of BYU football and basketball. We are in good hands and I believe we are about to make some noise nationally.
