His injuries are unrelated to his lifting ability
Lifting strengthens the surrounding ligaments and allows your body to better compensate when a hit forces a joint into a compromised position.

Front squats would strengthen his ACL MCL Achilles tendons and t-spine.

I'm not an expert in the lis franc, but from what I do understand it isn't likely related to his lifting. My personal thought is it is likely related to a chronic foot "posture" issue (flat or semi-flat feet), but that's a shot in the dark.
