On 1st down, Nacua whiffed on a tackle in the backfield, and Pikula whiffed on a tackle that would have stopped Williams after about two yards. On 2nd down, our DL crashed the middle, and Williams ran off-tackle and was stopped for 3. Again, the DL wasn't blown off the line. On 3rd, Taele and Bronson crashed into the backfield easily, but Utah ran an option play to the outside. Again, not blown back.

It wasn't fatigue. It was poor fundamentals by us and a couple of good play calls by the Utah coaches. And that was the ball game.
