Audio in RES bleeds a lot more than other stadiums in Utah, including Utah State. Easier design, for 13 million-make the sound end zone video wall a free standing structure. Had Utah kept all their existing speakers firing north still would of sounded "hollow" in comparison to what 13 million gets you now. Better speaker arrangement at that cost, better be good.
Turning to BYU video walls (forget the neighbors) BYU used the existing speakers (saving millions over Utah investment) and getting TWO video walls and ribbons. A much better return on investment in comparison to Utah. In all, Utah sound is lights out better than what Utah had previously. BYU sound from North to South with existing speakers is the BEST cost for what LES currently has.
Impressive video wall Utah, about time and sorry...still no National Trophy to sing home about.... Let the leap frog race continue...
