get back-ups from Europe, mid-level NBA guys who could fill a need, or even college superstars who haven't gone pro yet. A lot of people were pissed when Coach K brought Mason Plumlee onto Team USA, but he filled a need perfectly and didn't have a huge ego (and thus didn't mind sitting on the bench while superstars played ahead of him).
