It's certainly left leaning but I loved it. It was done by Aaron Sorkin (Few good men and American president movies) so the writing is excellent. I personally believe it had the best TV ensemble cast ever assembled. The acting is very well done. So- even though the White House is liberal, they are thoughtful ones and often tell the opposite conservative view with respect and thoughtfulness too.
