I hadn't heard anything about his engagement being off...just assumed that the wedding had happened. I did notice, however, that he wasn't wearing a ring and thought that was a bit odd for a newly married guy to already not be wearing his ring. He looked down at his left hand a lot during his talk. Even my 9-year old daughter noticed that.
