Yeah, it was his back & limited play. Van Komen is stronger, I'll give him that.
But he's super slow & has no bounce to him whatsoever. For a 7 footer, Hamson was quick & fluid, & light on his feet.

I do realize Van Komen is working his butt off & has plenty of time to improve, though. I'd definitely keep an eye on him & offer him as soon as a sensed he could pan out at the D1 level. But not before--& I'm not seeing it yet, even with his crazy height.
