anyone who believes the "never left Utah" narrative is really un-smart
First of all, the place is practically UC-Provo with the number of Californians. Second, probably 40% of the student population has lived in another country for two years. It's a cultural bubble and yeah, it's quirky/weird in some ways, but "never left Utah" is much more fitting for the team up north.
