only two verifiable sources of that accusation: 1) the SDSU letter to the Big East when they were posturing to be invited (at BYU's expense) and the Big East lawyer who wanted BYU to accept their terms of a deal that would bring BYU to the Big East (terms by the way that would have permitted the Big East to contractually force BYU to play on Sunday).

That's it. Some people point to the blogger/tweeter who stated as much, but he never sourced it at all. Again, it's a media narrative.

Facts are, any time anybody makes a non-agenda public statement about working with BYU, it's always been positive. The hard to work with is simply the result of echo chamber participants with an agenda and ignorant and lazy media people who don't research where the rumor comes from.
