Here's a way to look at it positively:
Tramel has wanted an interview with Holmoe for years - never happened.
Holmoe finally gave him a call. That indicates something has changed.
I don't think it's changed from BYU being in the Big 12 to suddenly not being in the Big 12. Maybe the change is BYU is now closer than it has ever been?
Not saying this is for sure what happened but it's not hard to take this news and make it a possible positive.
