I can't speak for all the schools, but many of the UofA season ticket holders and donor class are pretty upset with the way the conference is run. Inexcusable scheduling that mainly benefits the LA schools, hiring and payment practices that have produced the worst D1 refereeing corps in the country, a refusal to contain conference costs and instead shorting the schools on money to pay for their extravagance, and just a plain lack of respect when responding to concerns.

I have no inside source or anything. Just repeating the concerns voiced to me by multiple looong time season ticket holders and donors. They got the Sports writer for the Tucson paper, The Red Star, to write an recent article voicing many of these concerns. These folks are by no means suggesting that they are ready to jump ship today. But another 5+ years of this nonsense and who knows?
