It got bad enough that his wife and kids were the targets of nasty fans. They have to live in the community, they shouldn't have been subjected to the nastiness of fans. But that's how people are. Hard to believe some BYU fans are so dirty. But being on CB, it's obviously true.

Bronco had plenty of head coach offers, he could have left years earlier and made millions more. Obviously, he didn't leave for a "better" job or more money. He wasn't asked to quit, TH begged him to stay. It was just that time. He had had enough and the Virginia offer was on the table. One of the main reasons he took it was to take the assistants with him so they would have jobs and further their careers.

He's had nothing but good to say about BYU, he's a class act all the way. Strong BYU supporter. If he could say or do anything to help BYU get into the Big 12, he'd do it.
