Some key shops *will* program your key for you, and for a fraction of the
dealership's cost. In Utah, Ace Hardware does car key programming, and the best deal is a locksmith on State Street in Orem. I had two keys made for $60-ish, total. Still sucks, but not nearly as bad as the $150 PER KEY the dealership wanted.
