... in the past and is still an issue today (though it's looking surmoutable for the Big12 at least ...)

The words from Brock Huard (a PAC12 school grad) at the end are somewhat veiled, but confirm what so many of us know to be the case: that BYU has consistently been excluded from P5 inclusion because we're a religious school that stands up for and tries to live our beliefs and that the academic elites can't stand that. You can see knowing nods from Finebaum and the other guy, but I wish they'd just come out and say what they know and we know to be the case: BYU has not come to P5 status because we're a Mormon school.
His words: "BYU and Houston are the two no-brainers for addition. The religious affiliation for BYU... talking to a lot of foks who do this and and have been around for a lot of these negotiations and conversations ... plays a much bigger role than you may think."
Other guy chimes in: "That's my question, is how big of a role does it play?"
Huard: "It does play a role and has played a roll in the past for quite a while"
Is it too politically incorrect to call out religious discrimination by liberal academic elites? We all know that's what's happened and that's why Utah is in the PAC12 instead of us, but why can't these big talking heads come out and say it?
