I've been to many away games across the country. Nebraska fan hospitality was in a class by itself. I have never seen anything like it.

Notre Dame was close, but the warmth and enthusiasm I experienced in Lincoln was better than South Bend. They were particularly gracious in defeat, and I discussed the game with several different people afterward.

I tried to emulate them as I interacted with opposing fans at LES the remainder of the year. I think it emulates the ideals of the university and we would do well to treat others as I was treated by Husker fans.
