a very strong athletic program, and that we would ADD to the strength of the conference RIGHT NOW. Putting BYU on a make-or-break deal would be ludicrous, and I would consider it an insult if we were asked to join on those terms. I fully expect that we will be put on a slow vesting schedule, but our spot in the conference should be secure from the get-go.
