better than anybody. We keep expecting "powers that be" to do the right thing. Since when has anybody done the right thing for BYU?
It has maybe happened, but if so it's rare, and it would certainly be something that is motivated out of self-interest anyway. (WCC Including us, EPSN Contract...)
Truth is, BYU has never/rarely been given a fair shake... if so, it would have been playing in a P5 conference long ago.
It's obvious the current BIG12 decision is going to go down as a political decision, a power struggle between the power players in the conference and their political cronies, and what will make the most money for the BIG12 with the least amount of perceived trouble, difficulty, or bad publicity. Bottom line.
Yeah BYU is easily the most qualified candidate. That's really great. That by itself means very little in how this is going to go down. The BIG12 proved that last time.
