Can't imagine any real official source at Houston would be spouting crap like that for real.

On the other hand... I definitely could see the possibility of a couple of PAC10+2 members not being very happy with their situation and looking for a better alternative. The PAC10+2 is no bed of roses (pun intended) for at least 1 or 2 of its members.
