I had a mole that PCP and dermatologist said was nothing. Biopsy said melanoma.

Plastic surgeon did great job removing it (close to eye). Caught it very early, but now I get to see dermatologist regularly. Cool scar like a question mark for a few months, but fading nicely now.

Don't procrastinate. Get it checked and removed if it meets the criteria. Better safe than sorry.

You don't go to hospitals to have your moles looked at. You find a primary care doctor or go straight to a dermatologist

Yes. You call their patient advocate number and they will tell you about doctors
