No doubt Tanner had a great year last year but a healthy Taysom is a total no-brainer in so many ways it's unfathomable to have believed that Tanner would be the starter. There is no way Taysom comes back to BYU if he doesn't have a 99% chance at starting. Tanner may, in the end, win the job back but there was no way he would have been the starter unless Taysom is injured again. The best case scenario is that Taysom stays healthy and has a great season and Tanner doesn't have to play a single minute. I doubt it happens that way but I think a healthy Taysom will lead BYU to great things this year.
