More than half of the population is 24 or younger. Not a lot of disposable income there to be spending on season tickets.
25-44 makes up another 28%. A lot of families with young kids in that age bracket. Not easy to dedicate essentially half a Saturday to a football game, with everything else going on in this stage of life.
Also, unrelated to demographics: 10% less money available to spend on football games.
