Alabama and Ole Miss last add date has now passed. BYU and UCLA are the only two schools left he can enroll in out of his top 4 schools. He started school in spring so he will lose this year if he doesn't enroll anywhere. Also he has to be enrolled in another school a full year before he is eligible to play. So if he doesn't transfer he will have to sit out.
He can still go the JUCO route or mission but if he doesn't enroll before September 6, he will have very few options as almost all schools last day to add is up by Sept 6.

If he goes the JUCO route he has to graduate with his AA as a 4-2-4 transfer (4 yr -2 yr- back to 4 yr athlete) which means it might be two years there instead of one. Basically he needs to decide if he's going back because by September 6 he won't have a choice.
I hope he makes the best decision for himself. If he is indecisive and lets September 6 pass it will be a 2 year eligibility loss and hard lesson learned if he doesn't go back.
