Running too often is tempting but...
...in the long run it stunts the QBs growth and progression. Sure you will get some big plays but the athlete will use it as a crutch and it will eventually catch up with him. If not through injury then certainly with development. If Taysom ever plays in the nfl then "letting Taysom be Taysom" will not be enough. It's a cool tool in his box but he will still have to learn to be a qb eventually. Not just a rb playing qb. I would argue that even at the college level it catches up.
