2 companies attempted to introduce alternative devices but went under
Auvi-Q and Greenway (I think).
We need more competition in this therapeutic area.
If a person has any medical background, I hand them a $0.25 vial of epi and a 1mL syringe and tell them how to draw up the same dose as an Epipen. Back in the days of the "Ana-kit", everybody had to learn how to use a syringe. It's really not unreasonable to use a syringe and a vial until this debacle gets sorted out.
