A concrete room under the porch used to store canned goods, potatoes, etc... During the spring it was very cool in there, but during the long hot summer it has been warmer than the rest of my basement. The basement stays at about 68 degrees and the cold storage (which should be around 55-60 degrees) hovers around 80.
