compete just right at that level. My daughter is a sophomore and varsity starter on the girls soccer team at Payson. They'll go out and have great, competitive games with Juab, North Sanpete, etc. Close games with similar talent. Then we go up against Maple Mountain and get beat 8-0, or 5-0 to Springville. That's not enjoyable for anyone.

I've got a 10th grade girl, 7th grade boy, 5th grade boy and 2nd grade girl. I hope that the growth down here can help give a boost to the programs here. It does give them more chances to participate and compete - but losing sucks. My daughter would probably not be a varsity starter as a sophomore at a really good 4A or 5A school.
