Hollywood loves to redo what has worked before. which is too bad because what made Stars Wars so amazing was the originality. My dad still talks about seeing A New Hope in the theaters and how blown away he was by the bar scene. It was so creative. Especially at that time.

It does not seem like there are much new ideas anymore. Either remake an old classic, comic book, or follow the same format of other movies but with different characters.

Force Awakens was good and I am sure the next one will be good too but they can't capture the magic without something new and original.
