The cougar represents the youthful demeanor and it has been placed on the left
to represent what the men hope to leave behind as the move from the sinister side to the more holy right side where we find the Y, representing two mentalities, the two arms of the Y, that converge to form one goal, which is represented by the lower arm, and how it leads to a solid foundation, the base of the Y.
