I wanted to do something with the old era of BYU football mixed with new era of BYU football. I was pretty happy with the results for what I wanted. With the Sitake hire I have been seeing a lot of Royal Blue and the Sailor logo around. The Y as it is now, for today, and then the grey mask to give it a retro look. I don't ever expect BYU to actually use what was created, just a fun and new tradition and collection I have.

As a new tradition I will have a new helmet made each year at the beginning of the year until I run out of ideas. I will keep you all informed as I love to see all the feedback. Will I ever have one that will make everyone happy, probably not, but still fun to see the reaction.

In fact I tell you what. I will have a helmet done based on all the suggestions I get here. Let's collect all the suggestions for the next two months and I will narrow them down and do a pole. I will have it created as a finish to the year and call it the Cougar Board Lid. Not sure how I will do this on here but I will think of something or maybe someone can help me. I will cover all the cost.
