has already gotten a decent amount of Heisman talk over the last few years from a number of sources. I'm pretty sure that any Heisman hype for Chuckie outside of Cache Valley was very brief.
I'm obviously not predicting Taysom will win the Heisman, and I can't imagine anybody really is, but I would absolutely be willing to bet that his name would be thrown into the mix by week 2 or 3 if he were healthy and we had won all of our games to that point. I actually think that even if we went 1-2 to start and then won out, or even lost one more game in the middle of the season somewhere but won the rest, and he stayed healthy and played really well the second half of the season, he could get a fair amount of talk late in the year. He's just the type of exciting player that gets attention.
Now, if you're just saying that it's a long shot, then that is obvious. Things have to go very well for him and the team for him to be in real contention. However, it is not at all outlandish to think he could be talked about. And again, I think comparing him to Chuckie in this regard is way off.
